As an outcome of our fast growth, we are looking to recruit several highly capable and ambitious individuals, who will enable the next stage of our business evolution, establishing key positions in our exciting company.
As such; we are looking for a passionate, energetic, outgoing individual to work within our sales & marketing team to assist in the development and closing of sales with new clients in existing and new markets.

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Private Sector)
Post details: Full Time
Salary: Up to £50,000 DoE plus uncapped commission scheme
Location: Leicester, UK / Hybrid working (Travel expected)
Start date: Immediate (flexible depending on candidate)
Key Accountabilities
-
Plan, build, forecast and close a robust sales pipeline to deliver targets in line with the business sales & marketing strategy

Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities in your sector and generate 90% of your pipeline through new prospects

Building relationships with new and existing clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs

Management of day-to-day sales enquiries including but not limited to quote preparation, literature, tender support, CRM maintenance etc.

Attending exhibitions and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends

Possess a strong understanding of the company’s products and services and understand our positioning within the competitive landscape

Work closely with internal product management and wider the commercial team to deliver common campaigns

Contribute to the overall sales strategy and sales leadership team meetings

Provide general support to sales team to support meetings and business development efforts as required.

Travel within the UK is expected along with occasional overseas travel

At least 3 years’ experience in a B2B sales roles in the private sector

Proven history and successful sales record in a technology sector

Proven history of building your own pipeline of opportunities

Superb communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent time management and planning skills

Experience of MS Office 365 suite
