Providing a number of data, software and hardware services, our dynamic team has unparalleled air quality expertise in sensor design, pollution modelling and analysis and we use this to provide advice and support to government and industry globally.

 

Air quality is a fast-growing area of operation and EarthSense has helped the likes of BBC and ITV promote the dangers of breathing poor air, along with all of our blue-chip, global clients who are taking positive steps to reduce air pollution.

As an outcome of our fast growth, we are looking to recruit a number of highly capable and ambitious individuals, who will enable the next stage of our business evolution, establishing key positions in our exciting company.

As such, we are looking for keen and capable technician to take responsibility for the support and maintenance to a widening community of deployed air quality monitors. The role will include both on-site and remote support for air quality monitor deployment and maintenance, as well as fault investigation and resolution. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Operations.

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 p.a. plus benefits (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of goods in and out

  • Maintain records and quality assure customer deliveries

  • Maintain inventory of hardware returns

  • Manage refurbishment and hardware rental processes

  • Undertake field work as required

  • Following appropriate health and safety protocols across all business activity

  • Maintain and monitor the sensor fleet

  • Undertake support resolution as appropriate with focus on high customer satisfaction and clear communications

  • Identify and raise risks when identified

  • Follow quality processes and identify areas for improvement where possible in line with ISO 9001 and 14001

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications Sought:

Essential

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications.

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Able to work safely and effectively at height in the field

  • Full clean driving licence

  • Competency in electrical / electronic fault finding

Desirable

  • Understanding of air quality monitoring and modelling techniques

  • Geospatial knowledge

  • Knowledge of electronics

  • Knowledge of firmware

  • Fieldwork experience
