Help Bring Air-Quality Monitoring to Your School

Thank you for supporting cleaner, healthier school environments.

Your school is invited to participate in the Potchefstroom Schools Air Quality Project, a city-wide initiative led by Sedulitas in partnership with EarthSense.

Two schools will be selected to receive a Zephyr® air quality sensor, helping students and staff better understand local air quality in and around their school. The sensors provide real-time air quality data that supports environmental awareness, education and healthier school communities.

Selection will be based on project suitability, including location, environmental factors and the school’s interest in supporting air-quality awareness. Schools located near busy roads, traffic routes or industrial areas are encouraged to apply.

By submitting this form, schools confirm acceptance of the project *Terms & Conditions, including eligibility for participation, installation access requirements, and permission for project communications and awareness activities by Sedulitas and EarthSense.

Why would your school benefit from air-quality monitoring?

*Terms & Conditions

1. The initiative is open to primary and secondary schools located within the Potchefstroom area.

2. The project is delivered by Sedulitas in partnership with EarthSense.

3. Schools must complete the registration form before the closing date to be considered.

4. Selected schools must allow reasonable access for monitor installation and operation on school grounds.

5. Selected schools are responsible for taking reasonable measures to protect the monitor from damage, tampering or theft while it is installed on school premises.

6. Air-quality data and project imagery may be used for educational, awareness and project communication purposes.

7. Selected schools may be featured in project communications, case studies and related awareness activities by Sedulitas and EarthSense.

8. Participation in the project is provided free of charge for an initial period of 12 months. Following the initial

participation period, ongoing use of the monitoring equipment, data services and platform access will be subject

to subscription fees. Details will be provided before the end of the initial term.

9. Sedulitas and EarthSense reserve the right to amend or withdraw the initiative if required.
10. Submission of the registration form confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

11. All submissions required before the closing date of June 30th 2026.
