Southampton City Council are using air quality data services to visualise and mitigate woodburning smoke emissions. The project is part of a campaign to encourage behavioural change and reduce residents’ exposure to harmful pollutants.

Air quality and renewable technology are inextricably linked in a world where sustainability is paramount. BACB Renewables Presentation will look into how we use Air Quality monitors with our customers. We will cover the problems we have encountered and how we overcame them and make Air quality one of the elements we baseline with all customers that have made us their Holistic Decarbonisation partners.

Getting Here 

Please be mindful of choosing the best journey for yourself and the environment. We highly advise arriving by train if possible, there are various easy ways to get from Leicester Railway Station to Space Park Leicester. 


If arriving by train to Leicester Railway Station:
Leicester has electric bikes for hire, through Ebike Centres, for a quick and easy trip through the city and along the canals. The e-bikes is located just a 6-minute walk from the train station.
Alternatively, there are regular buses. Bus 44A will take you directly from the train station to the Haymarket Bus Station (if you fancy stretching your legs after the train, the Haymarket bus station is just a 15-minute walk from the train station) where you can jump on bus 54 to Abbey lane. From Abbey Lane it is a brief 5-minute walk to the Space Park. 

Parking 

There is free parking available on-site on a first-come, first-serve basis. Upon arrival, please press the intercom at the barriers and the Space Park reception will let you through and direct you to your space. This will allow easy access through our ANPR barriers. Alternatively, you can park at the pay and display car park at the National Space Centre next door. 

Lunch & Refreshments

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day at no extra charge. Please state any dietary requirements in the form when booking a ticket from the confirmation email.
