Our very own Antoine Jeanjean, Head of Modelling at EarthSense has been announced as a speaker at the fourth National Air Quality Conference.
The conference takes place on 4th October 2018 at Lords Cricket Ground with a focus on government clean air strategies, the future role of road transport and creation of clean air zones in cities using innovative techniques.
Project ACCRA
We are delighted to be invited to present at the annual National Air Quality Conference by Air Quality News, following the successful completion of project ACCRA (Autonomous and Connected vehicles for CleaneR Air).
ACCRA used real time air pollution measurements captured by our Zephyr® air quality sensor to automatically activate zero-emission running of hybrid vehicles as they passed through some of the most polluted streets in Leeds City Centre. This was a project led by Cenex with partners including Dynniq, Transport Systems Catapult, Leeds City Council and TEVVA Motors.
Antoine’s presentation
Antoine will be presenting a 20 minute talk entitled ‘Creating Clean Air Zones in Heavily Polluted City Streets,’ starting at 12pm. He will provide an overview on the successes of project ACCRA, highlighting the scope this project has for other local authorities to use a similar system to drive change and help tackle air pollution for a cleaner future.
