The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and delivery of projects and the efficient coordination of the associated logistics activities. This role requires strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will work closely with the Hardware and Delivery Manager to oversee project timelines, coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and communicate with various external and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services.

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per annum dependent on experience
Location: Leicester, UK / Hybrid working
Start date: Immediate (flexible depending on candidate)
Key Accountabilities
Project Coordination:

Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of customer deliveries.

Liaise with end users and local authority to identify installation requirements, gain required permissions and ensure installations are carried out in an effective manner.

Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure project goals are met.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.
Logistics Management:

Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products.

Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers.

Oversee the inventory management system, including receiving, storage, and distribution of hardware.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements related to shipping and handling of products.
Communication and Reporting:

Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics and project-related enquiries.

Provide regular updates to the Hardware and Delivery Manager on project status and logistics operations.

Prepare reports on project progress, logistics performance, and inventory levels.

Collaborate with the customer support team to address any delivery issues or customer concerns.
Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.

Implement best practices for inventory management and shipping procedures.

Assist in the development and implementation of new operational processes and systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Formal qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field are recommended.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination and logistics management, preferably in a hardware or technology-focused company are a must.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and creative interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.

Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

The interview will include a hands-on challenge and the requirement to demonstrate previous experience at an appropriate level.
