EarthSense is proud to be a partner in the Clean Air Africa initiative, joining a network of organisations committed to improving air quality and supporting healthier communities across the continent.
Air pollution is increasingly recognised as a major public health challenge in Africa. Rapid urbanisation, population growth and industrial development are placing pressure on urban environments, while many countries still lack the monitoring infrastructure needed to fully understand pollution levels and population exposure.
Clean Air Africa works to address these challenges by bringing together stakeholders from government, academia, civil society and the private sector to strengthen collaboration, share expertise and accelerate action on air pollution.
Strengthening Air Quality Data and Solutions
As part of the Private Sector Forum, EarthSense will contribute its expertise in environmental monitoring technology and air quality modelling. Our solutions help cities, governments and organisations generate accurate, high-resolution data that supports:
Evidence-based air quality policy
Environmental compliance and planning
Public health protection
Transparent communication with communities
Reliable data is fundamental to understanding pollution sources, identifying trends and developing effective mitigation strategies.
Collaboration for Cleaner Air
Initiatives like Clean Air Africa demonstrate the importance of cross-sector collaboration. Forums and partnerships that bring together policymakers, researchers, businesses and environmental organisations play a vital role in sharing knowledge and scaling practical solutions to address air pollution challenges.
By participating in this partnership, EarthSense aims to support the development of stronger air quality monitoring networks and provide tools that help organisations across Africa make informed decisions about environmental management.
We look forward to working with partners across the region to help advance the shared goal of cleaner air for all!
